Not guilty verdict where a client was driving home after attending a funeral in France. We successfully argued that as she was sharing the driving on the long journey with her partner, and could not recall who was driving the vehicle at the time of a speeding offence, she could not be expected to name the driver. We obtained an order from the Court paying our client's legal costs.

Allegation of speeding withdrawn at Court by the prosecution after we successfully argued that the driver had not been given a notice of intended prosecution and the speed gun had not been properly calibrated. Again the Court made an order paying the client's legal costs.

Avoiding a lengthy disqualification for a leading Yorkshire businessman who was recorded driving at over 125mph on a 60mph single carriageway.

Succesfully arguing that it would cause exceptional hardship to our client, a national sales director of a leading plc, if he was disqualified under the penalty point system, for his fourth speeding offence. Even though he had a total 12 points we were able to save his licence and he was able to keep his job.
